So excited to let you all know that Fabulous Magazine on Sunday has featured Shepherd’s Watch, here at Greenhill Glamping.
About Shepherd’s Watch
Shepherd’s Watch is our unique shepherd’s hut that is over 120 years old. Lovingly restored by ourselves offering you a cosy hideaway oozing with charm and character. Shepherd’s Watch sits in its own private grass meadow with stunning views across our farm and the Kent Downs. It’s very spacious inside and has been furnished with bespoke features to a very high standard. You have all the comforts you can’t live without as well as added luxuries such as a king-size bed and Nespresso coffee machine. The hut has been insulated with sheeps’ wool and has a wood-burner with a plentiful supply of logs to keep you warm and cosy. We want your stay in our shepherd’s hut to be as relaxing as possible and there are lots of little extra touches to give a real feeling of luxury.
Shepherd’s Watch is one of two Shepherds Wagons that we have at Greenhill Glamping, our family farm. Set in the beautiful location of the Alkham Valley on the Kent Downs near to Dover in an “Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty”. Greenhill Farm has been owned by the Burrows family for over 50 years. For 15 years we have provided B & B accommodation as Alkham Court. In 2015, we decided to renovate a Shepherds Wagon and provide glamping accommodation to those looking for something a little different….and so Greenhill Glamping was born. As well as Shepherd’s Watch, we also have another Shepherds Wagon, Ploughman’s Retreat.
