Have you got questions about your stay with us? We’ve answered FAQs about arriving at Greenhill Glamping from questions previous guests have asked.

What time can we arrive?

Check In on the day is from 3:00pm

Why can’t we arrive before that time?

We like to make sure that your shepherd’s hut is beautifully clean and welcoming before you arrive.

How can we get to Greenhill Glamping?

Directions:

From M20 London/Eurotunnel:

Follow signs towards Dover past Junction 13 where M20 joins A20, drive through the tunnels and then immediate exit direction A260 Canterbury/Folkestone. Turn left at roundabout, back over the motorway, then turn left again following signs to Alkham. Proceed down the Alkham Valley road for approximately 2 miles (3Km), turn right into Meggett Lane,  continue up the hill past ‘Greenhill Farm Liveries’ and on the right hand side you will see the separate entrance gates to Ploughmans Retreat and Shepherd’s Watch and drive towards the hut and parking is next to the hut.

Where can we park?

When you arrive at the hut there is a large hard standing parking area next to the hut.  A code for the key safe is sent to you before your arrival.

Will there be anything in the Shepherds hut when we arrive?

There will be some milk, tea & coffee, hot chocolate, sugar, farm eggs, homemade cake, and some marshmallows to toast on the firepit for your arrival. We provide the wood for the woodstove and firepit but if you prefer to cook with charcoal you will need to bring some with you.

Where can we eat locally?

Our local pub in Alkham marquisofgranby and would take about 20 minutes to walk to.

When we leave what will we need to do?

To help us stay safe we ask if you can leave your rubbish bagged up outside and we would be very grateful if you can strip the bed and put the linen in the laundry bags provided and leave the windows open if it’s not raining.

What time is checkout?

Checkout from the hut is by 10.00 a.m.
